On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are very pleased and honored to welcome you to the 3rd International Crop Modelling Symposium (iCROPM2026) dedicated to “Crop Modelling for Agriculture and Food Security under Global Change”, which will take place in Florence, Italy, from 2 to 4 February 2026.

In a time of unprecedented global challenges—ranging from climate change and resource degradation to food insecurity and biodiversity loss—crop modelling plays a critical role in agricultural research and innovation, supporting informed decisions and enhancing the resilience of food systems.

iCROPM2026 will serve as a global forum for researchers, model developers, experimentalists, and stakeholders to share cutting-edge findings on crop modelling across all crop types, systems, and world regions, with relevance to both large agricultural firms and smallholder farmers.
